Camden town redevelopment:
A multi story/ multi million redevelopment for surface and sub surface
construction for London underground limited. Planning drawings under public
inquiry/ due to finish in 2012.
SLAM (Single Living Accommodation Modular) (London)
(Aukett):
Responsible for running a site with three buildings in Poole/ England.
Started from the planning stages. Constructed for the ministry of defense/
UK.
Farringdon Thames link 2000 station (London) (Aukett):
Responsible for the main ticket hall design. Up to planning stages.
Crossrail network (London) (Aukett):
A £20bn crossrail line proposal on 2 phases. Responsible for the
feasibility study for a group of station including Woolwich Arsenal. Got
the proposal up to planning stages when the whole project was suspended.
IBM Basingstoke (Basingstoke) (Hamilton Associates):
Starting from concept, this building was designed to accommodate for IBM
international hot-desking concept. The client (Frogmore) was monitoring
the design concept closely from early stages, along with the tenant (IBM).
Up to planning.
Sports Administration Building, Loughbourgh University
(Hamilton Associates):
A reception area design exercise. Including client presentation, story
boards and sub-contractors/ manufacturers interviews.
Fulham Brodway Station (West London) (Hamilton Associates):
A £60m multi-cinema and retail complex on top of Fulham Broadway
underground station (700.000sq/ft). Detailing the front façade
for tender. Work included design of smoke vents to front façade
and co-ordination for stone modules and aluminum panels.
Tender package for front façade was issued in July 2001.
Warwick Gates Business Park (Worwick- England) (Hamilton
Asso.)
A425 to Junction 13 & 14 of the M40, 20 hectares (50 Acers) of office
building.
Involved in master plan development to suit client/tenant requirement.
Design criteria depended on calculations of buildings to car parks and
landscape. Details of new layout including new calculations to percentages
of the above were submitted to client and discussed to be developed further.

Al-Dabbagh E-village (West India Dock/ London) (Gensler & Associates):
A high spec; high security £134m Data center consisting of two main
buildings linked together, in addition to the CHP tower (combined heat
and power).
Worked on the scheme to create and develop the concept; presented it to
the client and issued planning application drawings.
This project came to the practice end of October. The deadline for planning
application was set to be the 15th of December 2000. The team worked under
extreme pressure to develop the concept and design; and managed to issue
all required information to planners on time.
Coordinated all the M & E packages to compromise the services and
manipulate the areas to fit our design.
90 High Holborn (The Aurora) (Gensler & Associates):
A £37m development and fit out for a seven-story office building
in the city of London. Responsible for coordinating the tender packages,
fit out packages and all client and tenant presentation packages. Also
supervised and presented the design of the reception (which included a
retail area) lobby to the client.
All main packages have been issued for tender; demolition work on site
was done end of November and the team is preparing all the packages for
construction.
Mid-Summer Place (Central Melton Keynes) (GMW partnership):
A 66,000 square feet retail scheme (£85m).
In charge of the Blockwork package (£5M). Produced all retail/ Debenhams
area layouts for the Blockwork/ building regulation and a catalogue for
all typical details.
Issued a layout set of drawings for construction, coordinating the
windpost layout (structural engineers), the builders work holes and services
ducts through Blockwork (services engineers) and all necessary individual
Blockwork details.
Also responsible for coordinating the blockwork setting out with the stone
work modules (external) in order to fine tune the stone package information.
As the blockwork package was under construction; I took ownership of the
tenant/ shop fitters drawings.
16-17 Old Bailey (London) (GMW partnership):
A 30 million office building in the city of London.
Participated as a member of the production team. Created a network server
for the cad production drawings.
Issued three packages for construction:
-The louvers and screens package.
-The external works package.
-The access raised floor package.
As well as participating in issuing the major packages such as the block
work, steel work and central cores and services area.
The M25 widening project (Parkman consultancy):
An auto-cad server setup for the production drawings, production of structural
details for the retaining walls and sign-gantries and translating site
surveying into structural details.
The Saudi embassy in Egypt (MD consultancy):
A member of the design team (competition design) for the Saudi embassy
in Egypt. In charge of the main courtyard and the surrounding layout.
Two houses and a small private hospital in Amman
(Ali Abdin Consulting Bureau):
A member of a team of four architects, working on various details and
design schemes.
A competition for a documentary monument in Baghdad
(Dr. S.M. Al-Qaissi Bureau):
A team leader for preparing the conceptual and presentation drawings for
a documentary monument in the center of Baghdad (won the first prize).
A competition for a private mosque in Baghdad (Dr.
S.M. Al-Qaissi Bureau):
A team member working on CAD to produce computer generated models for
the conceptual and presentation drawings for a 50 person private mosque
in Baghdad.
